Job Description

A remote Technical Services Support Specialist job is currently available at Sealed Air. You will provide direct management support of the ServiceMax implementation process for NAM including field training.  Spare Parts inventory control of technician truck stock to comply with company standards established by management while maintaining FTFR and customer satisfaction. Formulate, implement, and monitor the required support structure and business plan to ensure customer responsiveness and support. 

 

  • Identify, formulate, and implement the required employee training requirements to drive optimum staff utilization, performance efficiencies, productivity, and process improvements. Provide the departmental employees a clear understanding of performance expectations to drive the desired results for upcoming Aquant implementation. 
  • Evaluate the current inventories of the Field Service Engineer Network and manage the inventory levels, replenishments, logistics, and reverse logistics. Establish model inventory, composition and quantities. Establish and implement a replenishment process. Monitor and maintain efficient inventory levels to maximize first time fix rates to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for annual field technician inventory process and periodic spare part audits to ensure accuracy levels are met.
  • Responsible for providing quality control over Maintenance Agreement sales and implement reporting tools to monitor Maintenance Agreement profit vs cost to drive profitability by contract, by region, by technician.
  • Assist with the implementation of ecommerce part sales process while maintaining up to date pricing and data.
  • Assist in the testing process of ServiceMax configuration changes to ensure quality and accuracy of changes before field implementation is moved forward.
  • Develop and assist in the Pre-Installation process for each business unit as applicable to ensure high quality new customer installation satisfaction is met.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of any and all reporting required by Technical Services leadership to drive performance levels determined by the business.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor Degree preferred
•    4 to 6 years of departmental management experience in Inventory Control / Logistics / Supply Chain.  – Preferred 
•    Experience in controlling a large diversified spare parts inventory. – Preferred.
•    Demonstrated working knowledge and experience working with an ERP system. – Required. 
•    Strong interpersonal skills. – Required. 
•    Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal. – Required. 
•    Working experience and knowledge of department P/L allowing for in-depth analysis of actual performance to business plan. – Preferred.  
•    Strong PC management skills – Required.
