Job Description

 

A Technical Support Technician job at Sealed Air in Streetsboro, OH is currently available at Sealed Air. You will provide technical support for complete Automated Packaging Systems product line to the component level, or software and programming support for Customers, Field Service, and internal customers to result in services that are a competitive advantage for customers and the company. Maintain technical information to keep the department up to date on service problems.

 

  • Provide clear, concise communications to all customers to satisfy technical needs with solutions to problems.
  • Communicate reoccurring problems following department procedures.
  • Input of incedents into ServiceMax in a timely manner following departments internal processes.
  • Maintain technical manuals and publications used for the Technical Assistance personnel.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Associates Degree in Electronics, Applied Industrial Technology or related technical degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in field service or factory service or machine assembly/repair work.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  
  • Proficient use of a computer and Microsoft Office programs.
