Job Description

The Quality Process Engineer is a key role in aligning the Voice of Process to the Voice of the Customer. The role is primarily responsible for analyzing the Voice of Customer (claims, rejections, etc.) to define, create, implement and improve the quality and food safety systems. The Quality Process Engineer is responsible for initiating the root cause analysis and CAPA process within the other manufacturing and functional area (production, engineering, maintenance, training, warehouse) and assure the response to customers will be on time.


  • Review and follow up complaints and rejections
  • Quality analysis based on PPM calculation
  • Lead and perform Root Cause Analysis
  • Assure CAPA process for complaints and rejections
  • Define, update and implement Control Plans
  • Participate in the new products process (TDOs)
  • Prepare Customer Response Letters
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and others for the AMEF.

Education and Experience

  • Chemical Engineer / Industrial Engineer or similar.
  • 2-3 years in the manufacturing process
  • 1 year in quality or customer service (desire)
  • Advanced level of English. At this point, the candidate must be able to defend an opinion or argue when necessary. ( Not negotiable) 
  • Intermediate level of Excel (pivot tables knowledge, great databases analisys skills)

Skills and Certifications

  • Solving problem tools
  • Desire green belt certification (at least training)
  • Desire quality or food system certification (ISO, SQF, BRC, etc) or training
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct accurate root cause analysis, set corrective actions, and resolve operational failures.
  • Good communication skills to communicating with all departments within the organization
