Wichita Falls - Quality Assurance Technician

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Technician is an integral part of ensuring our products meet customer expectations.  The QA Technician will help by monitoring critical to quality process parameters and product tolerances as well as ensuring their shift is culturally aligned and engaged to our Quality program requirements, standards, and specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitors the effectiveness of our food safety program (SQF).
• Conducts verification and validation checks across all areas to assure conformance to process is followed and product meets expectations.
• Performs test equipment inspections and validations.
• Conducts test method certifications.
• Audits quality system processes (document control, control of non-conforming materials, Quality training system, etc)
• Completes customer requested certificates of analysis (COA)
• Performs incoming material inspections.
• Communicates customer return and/or Quality scrap information to operators.
• Assists with trial studies and investigation fact gathering.
• First line Andon (Versa) responder / online operator assistance.
• Participate and/or facilitate 5-Why or root cause meetings.
• Additional Duties as dictated by Business need.

Physical

•    Able to safely move and manipulate material for inspection or impound.
•    Frequent use of cutting devices to remove material from rolls for sample collection.
•    Long hours standing and walking.

Education

• High school diploma/GED equivalency required
