Job Description

The Financial Analysis Analyst is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Finance team in North America (NAM). This role will fulfill many duties related to back-office tasks, including data entry, journal entries, cost analysis, and Sarbanes-Oxley testing.  Back office analysts are tasked with interpreting data, analyzing data, and implementing data collection systems. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role that directly interacts with Supply Chain Finance, Plant Operations, and cross-functional teams in the organization. 


  • Accurate and prompt review and entry of capital projects (PAR) for NAM and NCone sites into the PPM Capital system. Analyze and validate that all supporting documentation is complete and in compliance with capitalization and expense policies and guidelines. Ensure appropriate approval levels are obtained in PPM per policy.
  • Track capital projects and work with the fixed asset team to close internal orders timely and begin asset capitalization once the project has been finalized.
  • Monitor asset transfers and disposals to ensure they are properly submitted and entered in SAP.
  • Assist with tracking fixed asset audit status at NAM sites for all assets over $50k to ensure they are audited and physically identified every 3 years by local plant personnel.
  • Prepare, Test, and Report findings on SOX compliance testing, cycle count accuracy, and other controls processes.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute various reports for month-end (Spend Report, FAO Analysis, Monthly Commentary, etc.)
  • Perform cost analysis and cost modeling as needed.
  • Assist with the annual global cost run and budget processes.
  • Create reports from the payroll system related to overtime (OT), regular hours, etc., and verify that accounting calculations are correct as well as prepare monthly reports.
  • Maintain data in Excel with V-lookup, Concatenate, Trim, Pivot, Slicers, and some BIA queries that should be distributed in NAM to the supply chain finance team and other Supply Chain areas.
  • Gov’t surveys, tax rendition reports,
  • Be proactive and open to new back-office requirements.  
  • Responsibilities are not limited to the requirements above.
  • Minimal travel, if needed (Less than 5%).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1 - 2 years finance or back-office experience with a background in manufacturing, preferred.
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP and BIA systems preferred


  • High proficiency in a conversational English level.
  • Experience with back-office systems (like HP-PPM project management system)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well organized and strong analytical skills required.
  • Must be flexible, innovative, creative and comfortable with setting priorities and managing multiple requests.
  • Understand, interpret, and summarize large sets of data; and determine if the data accurately represents the business.
  • Experience in high-volume operations and strong organization as well as planning skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work both independently and on teams, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a professional presentation.
  • Communication and collaboration with members from other countries (USA, MX).
