Job Description
Oversees performance of operational-related functions at the site and related networks. Responsible for 500+ employees. Directs and manages Plant Management, EHS, Quality, Production, Operational Excellence, Maintenance, and Engineering. Coordinate with functional leadership to drive organization policies, goals, and objectives to meet expectation from customers, shareholders and society.
Identify improvement areas and implement tools and processes to boost organization’s effectiveness, grow business, reducing cost and improve total EBITDA.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
- Operations Management - Oversees operational performance in Plant Management, EHS, Quality, Production, Operational Excellence, Maintenance, and Engineering to maintain high standards of manufacturing operations by ensuring quality product at a lower cost / services, on-time delivery and producing eco-friendly product in safe manner to meet society requirement on environments.
- Customer Service - Visits customers with sales team to understand customers’ design expectation. Work with design team to develop good, protective, low cost solutions which can be manufactured by utilizing auto machine process.
- Strategic Management – Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies and programs that allow organization to improve its competitive and profitability position. Guide the roll-out of each implementation across site leadership.
- Financial –Works with Finance Department Head, and Sales team to complete aggressive yearly budget and submit for leadership approval. Review with finance team on all kinds of costs and expenses, making sure they meet and exceed the budgeted EBITDA.
- Compliance– Approve, implement and enforce rules, regulations and procedures throughout operational-related functions and ensuring they are in line with corporate and local government requirements. Promotes and maintains a continuous improvement culture to achieve world-wide leading level.
- Leadership and People Management – Leads operation team on developing plans/tactics and sets direction to ensure company remains competitive in all aspects. Works with Department heads to identify talents and map out their career path. Works out suitable training plans to grow them for next level of leadership. Conduct performance management evaluations. Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor Degree required, technical degree preferred.
- 8 years minimum leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Green Belt Certification preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing people in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in a supply chain environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities.
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to present complex analysis with clarity.
- Ability to work under pressure and compressed timelines.
- Ability to understand accounting and financial processes related to the business.
- Ability to adapt and adjust to a changing environment.
- Polished presentation, business acumen and facilitation skills.
