Under the direction of the Materials Manager, the Materials Processor/Cell Analyst will support materials movement and processes throughout the manufacturing site. The qualified candidate must have strong initiative and be able to organize, prioritize, and follow through on everyday tasks while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates need to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills in their daily activities.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform all work in a safe manner following all safety policies, processes, and procedures

· Work closely with manufacturing, customer service, and the materials manager to resolve all issues

· Create purchase order requisitions and obtain approvals

· Complete transactions in SAP and ERP

· Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, staff, and management

· Coordinate inbound products

· Coordinate between operations, customer service, external and suppliers

· Participates in team projects for continuous improvement, 5s organization, and quality.

· Perform other duties as requested or assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· 4-5 years’ experience in material handling

· 3+ years’ experience in a variety of computer-based systems and programs including Microsoft Office and Outlook, ERP (Visual a plus), and SAP required

· Demonstrated written and verbal skills

· Must have a passion to service our customers

· Understanding and experienced in Cycle Counting

· Problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly and effectively resolve issues

· Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

· Highly organized and ability to multi-task in a busy setting.

· Understanding of procedures and processes used to issue and transfer material

· Understanding of blueprints and bills of materials

· Flexibility to work required hours to complete tasks and special projects

 

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Job Description

- Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products - Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels - Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods
