What does a Production Manager do?
SEE is looking for a motivated and experienced Production Manager who will be responsible for team performance in the Sealed Air Performance Management System (PMS) environment. You will be responsible to ensure that your team meets quality, productivity, and safety standards and that continuous improvement objectives are attained and TPLs and operators are well trained. You will work to a daily cycle of Plan-Do-Check-Act and will support your team in carrying out their Standard Work. You will also engage with support functions to provide technical assistance as required. Also to lead improvement & expansion projects.
You will work closely with the production & warehousing teams and report to the Plant Operations Manager to continuously drive the implementation of world class systems and processes. You will perform a daily review of the past 24 hours at the beginning of your day. You will manage the daily performance summary and is responsible to make sure that performance KPI’s are updated. The daily performance summary and performance KPI’s are critical for reporting the shift’s performance on a daily basis.
What are we looking for in you?
- Level of Tertiary Education, i.e. Diploma, Degree, master’s etc. desirable
- Alternatively significant management experience
- Lean Six Sigma Training and experience.
- SAP skills viewed favorably.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Process improvement experience with demonstrated successful results driven by application of structure problem solving and improvement.
- Able to write policies and procedures.
- Able to set Standard Operating Procedures
- Computer literacy in Word, PowerPoint, Excel – intermediate/advanced
- Able to maintain a clear focus on eliminating waste, simplifying and error-proofing processes, sustaining gains, and creating flow.
- Be able to stay near Silang, Cavite or willing to move nearby.
