Position Overview

We have an exciting job opportunity - Finance Manager position available at our Thailand Liquibox manufacturing plant. The site is located at TFD Industrial Estate, Tasa-Arn, Bangpakong, Chachoengsao. The role reports directly to Finance Director base in US. 

The successful candidate will be in charge of full finance function operations for Liquibox Thailand and will prepares, develops and analyses key financial information to ensure that the organization’s management makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability.

 

The role combines both financial and costing skills with business management skills. Includes, but is not limited to, financial reporting, maintaining/improving accounting and costing systems and the provision of accurate financial advice to internal customers, both local and at Division and Group.

Key Responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for the completion of accurate and complete monthly accounts.
  • Responsible for providing both financial & operational data for the company's annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Adhering to the tight deadlines of the monthly reports that are to be submitted to Head Office.
  • Completion and filing of VAT, Statutory Accounts, Tax, BOI documents and other statistical filings as required.
  • Leading and monitoring the Finance and Accounting team to work in the right process and accuracy input data of financial workflow within deadline.
  • To support the ongoing analysis, identification, and implementation of cost reduction programmes (where applicable) to improve operational profitability, including an ongoing evaluation of labour, materials, energy, packaging, and consumable costs, etc.
  • To monitor ongoing standard or planned job cost performance vs. actual for the bag business and ensure that master data amendments are initiated.
  • To support external / internal auditor including tax auditor.
  • Developing financial models and cash flow projections 
  • Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets.
  • Forecasting future performance and recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations
  • Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines and financial policies, including International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial planning and forecasting tools to ensure accurate and efficient financial analysis and decision-making
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of actual and estimated financial data using tools such as HFM (Hyperion)
  • Ensuring the company's financial health by overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities
  • Promote, identify, and implement continuous improvement.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks.

What we are looking for in You?

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:  

  • At least 8-10 years of accounting and finance management experience in a multinational company
  • CPA or CPD qualified
  • Must have at least 2-3 years working experience in manufacturing. 
  • In-depth knowledge of core accounting principles, practices, and standards
  • Cost and management background with strong understanding of BOM, routers and product standards.
  • Solid understanding of financial, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements, as well as experience in financial analysis and reporting
  • SAP experience is preferable.
  • Strong analytical skills and Problem-Solving abilities.
  • Willing to take ownership and accept accountability for the role.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work to deadlines is essential.
