Job Description

 

The Digital Marketing Content Specialist will help execute a high volume of e-commerce attraction, conversion, and retention campaigns targeted a wide variety of sectors and audiences in the packaging industry. 

 

This role is responsible for the creation and deployment of compelling content that drives buyer engagement through various digital channels including social media, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), paid advertising, mobile, and emerging online channels. Responsible for supporting repeatable, scalable demand generation programs. Will be involved in production of page building of an e-commerce site under guidance of UI/UX team.

 

The success of this position will be measured in content performance metrics (site engagement, views, and downloads from online prospects, etc.) and in on-time percentage in hitting ambitious timelines for content delivery to support annual campaign objectives.  

Responsibilities

 

Contribute to the fast-paced, iterative development and implementation of integrated, multi-channel campaigns which could include building web pages for e-commerce in a content management system, social, email, and display ads, graphic design, video editing, and photo editing.

 

Collaborate with global brand and global marketing teams

 

Coordinate with marketing and communications on planned external marketing campaigns and programs to provide support and execution on integrated marketing strategies.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, New Media or relevant field
  • 5+ years digital marketing experience preferred, B2B or B2C
  • Ability to clearly articulate and visually represent complex ideas 
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Experience learning new content management systems
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to be creative
  • Experience writing for digital content marketing channels (social media, display advertising, email, web, sponsored newsletters, blogs) strongly preferred
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain brand and voice consistency across mediums and channels 
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent relationship building skills complemented by the proven ability to work with others, especially across team boundaries and functions 
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and planning/execution skills 
  • Intellectually curious, strong attention to detail, self-motivated
