Position Summary

The Digital Merchandising Specialist is a key role on the MySEE eCommerce team that will impact the maintenance and growth of our shoppable web product strategy. The ideal candidate must possess strong eCommerce knowledge and be able to drive and execute projects amongst cross-functional teams. This role will also be responsible for content creation and copywriting, working alongside the digital marketing team, and contributing to product enablement campaigns. They can work in a fast-paced environment and thrive on results-oriented delivery. This person should enjoy solving complex customer problems, with a creative mindset, in a B2B industry. 

The position reports directly to the Senior Manager, MySEE Digital Commerce, and will be based at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

Job Description

  • Works closely with the Digital Commercial & Product teams to generate new opportunity ideas for increased catalog engagement to drive revenue generation.
  • Manages the eCommerce site's web “buyable” catalog, ensuring correct product information, attributes, etc. are loaded within PIM; manages a periodic content audit plan.
  • Become knowledgeable in the digital customer journey and how our product catalog, prices, promotions, content, and technology tools impact buying behaviors online.
  • Provide content creation support and execution on integrated marketing strategies; collaborate with marketing and portfolio teams on external campaigns.
  • Create, streamline, and document process requirements and workflows for content pathways amongst backend digital tools.
  • Partner with Regional Commercial teams to analyze product assortments and gather requirements for each product based on business rules, markets, and commercial strategy.
  • Work in an agile, fast-paced, and start-up-type environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to build project support and meet or exceed project milestones.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (including business, communications, or marketing coursework)
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital/eCommerce product management 
  • 2+ years digital marketing experience in B2B or B2C
  • Experience working with technology and user experience teams to define, scope, and prioritize product requirements. 
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with leadership, business stakeholders, and customers.  
  • Can translate business strategy and business alignment into iterative product launches from inception to delivery/maintenance. 
  • Strong creative communication skills both written and verbal. 
  • Effective at working closely with remote teams.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, holds strong leadership and execution skills.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in content creation tools (Adobe Creative Cloud) 
  • SAP HANA/BI experience preferred. 
  • Timeline & detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify issues & self-start programs to address.
