Job Summary

 

The Americas Equipment & Automation Marketing Leader is responsible for defining and executing the Equipment & Automation regional strategy as informed by the overall company strategy and regionalized as appropriate.  This role leads a team of sector and portfolio marketing professionals to execute at a sector, portfolio, and/or country level.  

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Define, communicate, and execute the Equipment & Automation go-to-market strategy by Sector for the region.  Drive the Strategic roadmap for connectivity, data analytics, IOT and SaaS for the solution platforms.  Collaborate with Global and Regional Platform leaders to include key strategic company growth priorities and then regionalize as appropriate.
  • Define and communicate Equipment & Automation pricing strategy by sector, portfolio, and/or country as appropriate.  Execution and administration by sales operations.
  • Develop and execute promotion strategy for the region including development of marketing materials and sales collateral; ensuring clear value propositions and total cost of ownership for new product launches; and supporting critical industry trade shows and events.
  • Act as owner of the P&L, driving actions to enhance margins and ROI by portfolio. Support all growth initiatives to drive top line results and then lead all actions to leverage that growth through the P&L to the bottom line.
  • Other key activities include leading annual and 3-year strategic plans for Equipment & Automation, understanding and counteracting key competitive activities in the region, supporting sales in proposal development, providing customer support, etc.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or related discipline.  Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional product or portfolio marketing management experience 
  • Previous experience with B2C and B2B marketing, including value chain analysis, buyer journey mapping and integrated campaign strategy.
  • Experience working with and driving new product development projects/programs.
  • Remote position possible with travel in the 25% range.
