Job Summary


Reporting to the Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing this position will be responsible for leading the Industrial Solution Platform within Global Strategic Marketing. The incumbent will be accountable for the marketing strategy, both upstream and downstream, for the entire Industrial Solution Platform. This will include collaboration with all Center of Excellence leaders, Global Platform leaders, research and development and regional leadership to ensure the development of a robust pipeline of products and innovations for the industrial segment of customers.  



Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Drive global marketing strategy and guidance across the industrial solution platform
  • Alignment of regional and global priorities in which will help organize resource planning
  • Align with Marketing Ops to manage consistent platform execution across regions
  • Partner with Strategy & Intelligence team to develop forward-looking solution platform strategies and creating a strategic roadmap to link with regional marketing plans
  • Drive P&L for global industrial solution platform
  • Serve as “clearing house” for all initiatives tied to revenue growth 
  • Operate as marketing liaison to drive alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, I&D, Marketing Ops, PR, Regional Teams
  • Coordinate, and execute projects for Gross Profit improvements
  • Drive I&D priorities (both global and regional) within the industrial solution platform’s responsibility
  • Manage Innovation and Development / Supply Chain / Finance project pipeline 
  • Ensure consistent solution platform execution across regions 

Position Interaction:


  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence Leaders to help accelerate the commercialization process for new innovations. 
  • Work with external partners to identify offerings that would accelerate any new platform offerings. 
  • Partner with regional sales and marketing teams to gather market intelligence that will help develop that global strategy around Sealed Airs equipment and automation solutions



Professional Experience:


  • Minimum of 10 years professional product or portfolio marketing management experience
  • Able to understand complex issues and can clearly articulate complex ideas
  • Experienced strategic thinker with proven data analysis capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to champion change, influence and drive results in a complex organization
  • Excellent project management, organization, attention to detail, follow-up
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify issues and self-start programs to address
  • Ability to communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the organization
  • Excellent relationship building skills complemented by the proven ability to work with others, especially across team boundaries.
  • Experience dealing with large companies at the senior/executive level
  • Intellectually curious, strong attention to detail, self-motivated, can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to be self-directed and handle ambiguous environments




  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related discipline
  • MBA strongly preferred
