Job Summary:

The Executive Director, Technology, Forensics & CI Audit will be a key leader in the transformation of Sealed Air’s Internal Audit department. This newly created position will not only be the leader of IA’s audit work related to IT General Controls, Application Controls and Key Report Testing but also help drive overall efforts related to maintaining pace with SEE’s advancing full technology footprint – including the Company’s investments in digital and automation. SEE is investing in disruptive technology & entrepreneurial business models to innovate faster. This position will be responsible for leading the technology audit team to maintain pace with this growth.

Additionally, the position will have responsibility for contributing to forensic investigations, partnering with the legal department related to ethics and integrity and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role will also lead operational audits, including those designed to assess company processes, investments, and returns.

The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will report directly to the Vice President, Internal Audit. Together with the Vice President, Internal Audit, this position will work in partnership with the Audit Committee and the Sealed Air Executive Leadership Team. This position will have a key role in building trust from Sealed Air’s IT Leadership Team, supply chain and external auditors to deliver thorough internal assurance services that give management and the Audit Committee confidence in Sealed Air’s control environment, operating efficiency, and investments.

The ideal candidate will have:

•    IT Audit Experience for a publicly listed company including leading efforts related to ITGC, Application and Key Report Testing
•    Demonstrated experience driving finance transformation 
•    Successful examples of leading development action plans for continuous improvement projects
•    Ability to drive improvements across the organization related to management’s enterprise risk management process and technology risk mapping then developing those insights into actionable audit plans
•    Proven success attracting talent and building high performance teams including deploying international and off-shore team members to leverage efficiency and step-function change 
•    Specific experience in forensic auditing including FCPA compliance and fraud investigations
•    Implementation of audit software to supplement audit strategy, preferably related to audit analytics platforms
•    Experience performing technology use audits and return on investment analysis for IT projects/investments 

Knowledge and Skills:

•    Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements
•    Understanding of US GAAP 
•    Skills auditing or co-sourcing audit of cybersecurity framework and threats
•    Strong analytical, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills required
•    Ability to interpret internal or external organizational issues and recommend best practices
•    Excellent writing and verbal communication/presentation skills
•    Ability to proactively manage vendors and third parties providing niche services to the audit department
•    Teaming mentality to work cohesively with business process audit team

Credentials and other items:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (MBA or Masters of Accounting preferred)
•    12+ years of  relevant experience including a mix of “Big 4” Public Accounting auditing/accounting experience and multi-national large public company with demonstrated progressively increasing responsibility
•    IT Audit Experience for a publicly listed company
•    CPA or CISA certification
•    Must have ability to travel up to 25% of the time
•    Not a remote position, requiring at least 2 days in office
