Position Summary

The Sealed Air HR organization has an immediate need to add to our HR Business Partner organization, a resource to help us drive transformational change across the entire global organization. If you are an HR professional experienced in working with senior leaders to drive HR and business strategy this is the role for you. The Global Associate HR Business Partner reports directly to the VP, Global Human Resources Business Partner, Commercial and Corporate Functions and  will assist the HR Business Partner function in supporting the leadership teams to plan, integrate and implement HR talent strategies that result in the improvement of the business performance and enable HR’s ability to align and meet the organization’s strategy.  This position will be instrumental in the ongoing process and project leadership for several key global HR initiatives including but not limited to, global compensation, organizational design, HR analytics and metrics, talent succession planning, early career programs, performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and leadership development.

Responsibilities

•    Leadership and successful execution of several key HR projects within the Strategic HR Business Plan.  
•    Drive process development and successful execution of current global strategic initiatives, including talent acquisition, talent management and org design. Would work in partnership with our Talent and Total Rewards Centers of Excellence.
•    Assist HRBPs in the management of multiple initiatives to include:
      o    Facilitation and administration of talent review processes, including talent assessment, succession planning, and retention planning across global hierarchies. Assist with administration and facilitation of career development process execution.
      o    Manage performance management and compensation projects as well as field and resolve questions from functional and commercial leadership. 
      o    Work in close collaboration with Global Compensation COE and functional leadership to successfully educate and execute all aspects of the global comp initiatives.
•    Monitor and assist in the administration of various HRIS and talent reporting to support leadership including creating regular HR metrics reports drawing knowledge and insight from the analytics to make recommendations for future talent strategies.
•    Leverage the wider HR function and specifically partner with HR COEs, and HR Operations to execute business priorities and solutions
•    Participate in daily HR and business operations including, recommending new approaches, practices and procedures for continual process improvement.
•    Serve as agent of change during times of significant growth, reorganizations, leadership changes and other periods of change.
 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or University in Human Resources. Completion or current pursuit of master’s degree (MBA/MHR) strongly preferred.
•    Minimum 5+ years’ experience in human resource generalist and/or business partner role.
•    Experience in an international business involving direct interaction with global leaders.
•    Global exposure through either professional or personal travel, education, interests, etc.
•    PHR or other HR certification is a plus.
•    Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written.

•    Comfortable coaching high level leaders on their development and the development of their teams.
•    Critical thinker with knowledge/curiosity around business acumen and the decisions to drive the business strategy forward with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to both work with details and be strategic in nature.
•    Successful work history reflecting strong work ethics and customer service demeanor.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken). Desire solid demonstrated presentation skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to design processes and programs, including communications and change management planning.   
•    Willingness to travel, internationally as deemed necessary. 
•    Ability to work comfortably and confidently with senior leadership.
•    Experience in SuccessFactors HCM or advanced analytics a plus
