Job Summary

The Global Strategic Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive sustainable competitive advantage and result in long term profitable growth for Sealed Air.


Within the Global Strategic Marketing team, the Marketing Performance & Reporting Manager is an integral member of Global Marketing Operations and will play a key role in the successful execution of our global marketing strategy.


The Marketing Performance & Reporting Manager will work closely across the organization to track key activities, evaluate their success, identify areas for improvement and ultimately measure how they contribute to the success of our marketing efforts in terms of ROI. This individual will need to develop a deep understanding of how relevant data is structured in our systems and be able to extract and connect discrete data elements to construct a holistic picture of performance which can be easily understood and acted upon.  Central to the role is the ability to assess the needs of constituent groups, then design and deliver reporting/analytics to highlight issues and inform decisions in a data driven manner.


We are looking for a passionate and result-driven individual to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess Digital Marketing and eCommerce knowledge that will be foundational in the development of relevant and effective performance reporting. This position will become a key facilitator of our transition into a data-driven culture.  This individual must be adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive on results-oriented delivery.  They must work well across the organization with cross functional team members to be able to connect and leverage data in the development of insightful analytics.  Basic financial acumen is a plus.


The position reports directly to the Global Marketing Operations Leader and will be responsible for managing a team of two analysts.  It will be based at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

Job Description

  • Develop a high-level vision for marketing analytics with supporting strategies and tactical execution plans to deliver results
  • Provide visible leadership of data analysis, reporting and visualizations to drive business decision making and deliver fact-based actionable recommendations
  • Understand business objectives and provide guidance on KPIs for measurements and setting goals
  • Identify gaps in our existing capabilities (systems, processes, data) and collaborate across the organization to develop solutions to address
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve processes that deliver performance reporting
  • Execute digital and multi-channel campaign measurement and analysis
  • Analyze data, present trends, and deliver recommendations to drive business decisions and measurable value
  • Promote data integrity best practices for maintaining a healthy marketing database
  • Manage, develop, and nurture a team of data analytics professionals

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in business, IT, statistics, marketing, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with analytics, reporting, digital marketing, or a related area
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and ability to report on marketing campaign tracking including sources across multiple channels like web, social, email, live events, webinars, and online communities
  • Passion for all things marketing analytics, with a deep understanding of the tools and strategies to effectively measure results
  • Ability to tell stories with data to audiences that are diverse in level, background, and technical expertise
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Proficiency with Power BI and other data visualization reporting tools
  • Excellent project management and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical abilities to identify issues and self-start programs to address
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Exceptional partner management skills, including experience collaborating across multiple functions and geographies

  • Good time-management skills
