Job Description

 

The Regional Equipment & Automation Marketing Leader will be responsible for driving customer-centric new solutions and opportunity spaces across the value chain. The primary objective of the role is to leverage deep industry insight to define our value proposition, go to market strategy and innovation needs through sound business case development and marketing plans.

 

  • Identifies new opportunity spaces and emerging technologies to facilitate the development of new products and platforms.
  • Creates concrete business cases and builds consensus around the strategic vision and execution plan.
  • Generates and formalizes value proposition and execution strategies, demonstrating a deep understanding of the value chain, industry economics and competitive structures.
  • Establishes and leads go-to-market plan for new products including pricing strategy, target markets and launch coordination with marketing communications, I&D, engineering and supply.
  • Develops strategic roadmap, linking region’s short-term plans to longer-term strategy, ensuring everyone has clear transparency and visibility of the linkage to the overall global sector plan, products and initiatives. 
  • Defines sub-segmentation of sector and channels for consistent use with global and regional teams.
  • Owns buyer enablement/customer journey across all channels of engagement specific to the sector(s)
  • Curates best practices, trends and industry insights to share with the Organization
  • Identifies, nurtures and pursues strategic industry alliances and partnerships with downstream customers, associations, government agencies, universities and research firms
  • Coordinates activities between the region for key global customers within the regional sector(s)
     

Qualifications

 

 

  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, marketing or business development within eCommerce or fullfillment 
  • Business-minded problem solver, experienced in white space analysis, business case development and financial analysis
  • Proven history of driving innovation and strategic market development in both mature and emerging economies
  • Collaborative individual who attacks work with drive, energy and shows demonstrated experience in driving growth programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, such as consensus building and facilitation
  • Ability to travel internationally; up to 30% travel
