Position Summary

Drive sales growth of new Cryovac® Brand Packaging offerings by creating pull-through in the retail channel, to include brick and mortar retail and eCommerce to include click and collect and home delivery or direct from brands to home. This will be a hybrid role collecting market insights, market pain points, and voice of customers in the North American food retail space to formulate Growth Projects as well as be responsible for sales of all Cryovac® Brand Food Packaging Solutions with a heightened focus on new product offers like the Cryovac® Compostable Tray into the Retail Food Channel.

Job Description

  • Drive sales of Cryovac® Brand Packaging through retail and food e-commerce channels.
    • Present Cryovac Brand Packaging Solutions to major retail, utilizing Insight Led Approach and sound financial reasoning (TCO and ROI selling).
    • Meeting individual and team goals for sales opportunities of Case Ready (to include printed roll stock and printed shrink bags), Ready Meals, and target product lines into the food retail and eCommerce channel.
  • Create, grow, and maintain relationships with decision-makers and key influencers in order to become a trusted advisor at the Top 10-15 food retail channel operators.
  • Ability to link key executives from Sealed Air to executives in the retail channel.
  • Be the source of market intelligence in the food retail and food eCommerce space for Cryovac® Brand Food Packaging, North America.
    • Assist Key National Accounts and Key Regional Accounts sales reps with food retail and eCommerce-related subjects: Power of Meat, National Meat Case Study, E-Commerce trends, etc.
  • Connect pull-through generated opportunities to key Cryovac Strategic and Regional Accounts.
    • Generate Leads into C4C for sales teams from retail packaging in competitive material.
    • As leads are converted to opportunities assist in driving through a successful sales cycle.
  • Lead every 3-4 years National Meat Case Study from data collection to publication.
  • Serve as Cryovac representation on the planning committee for the Annual Meat Conference.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with industry organizations, conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS Degree;
  • Food packaging knowledge
  • 10 years experience in the retail perishable sector, specifically fresh or processed protein
  • Experience in the retail perishable sector (sales, marketing, operations), specifically for fresh or processed protein
  • Mindset to close business
  • Ability to Travel 50% - 70% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s License
  • Valid Passport
  • Retail category management knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to allow for successful interactions with retailers, customers, and sales teams as well as the various functional support organizations within Sealed Air.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
