Senior Financial Analyst, Global Supply Chain

Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial analytical support to the Global Supply Chain organization with special emphasis on Inventory & Factory Admin/Overhead Expense.  Key responsibilities will include assisting in the annual planning, monthly forecasts, management reporting, analysis of working capital, costs of goods sold, key strategic initiatives, and ad hoc projects.  This position has significant impact on the quality and effectiveness of the organization's financial plans and business decisions as a key financial contact for the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiative.  The candidate must have the ability to work as a team member to ensure that others have the tools and knowledge required to make both financial and operational decisions.

Responsibilities

•    Lead Center of Excellence on inventory reporting and analytics including support to the Reinvent Inventory workstream with detailed analysis, accurate reporting, and initiative progress tracking
•    Partner with Supply Chain leaders to develop and execute highly automated processes for their respective monthly forecast, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and long-term strategic plan (STRAP)
•    Develop & Execute a standard process for forecasting and reporting Factory Admin/Overhead Expense to be used by Supply Chain Finance partners in all regions
•    Lead Balance Sheet Flux analysis associated with overarching Compliance requirements for Inventory and Accounts Payable
•    Partner with functional and business leaders and other finance teams to understand economic drivers and clearly articulate their implications on business decisions to senior management
•    Work directly with management, functional leaders, and other finance teams as needed to provide analysis on how to achieve company goals and drive initiatives that have a direct impact on key financial metrics
•    Review Supply Chain financial performance on a monthly basis and explain variances versus plan and prior year
•    Manage/Support ad-hoc requests and special projects as assigned
 

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance
•    Minimum 3 years of progressive financial experience, including planning, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting
•    Experience with analytical tools including MS Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookups, & Data Visualization
•    Experience developing and presenting performance reports to management enabling them to leverage and maximize financial results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Thorough understanding of the financial information systems such as SAP, HFM, & ESSBASE 
•    Experience with Power BI tools such as Power Pivot & Power Query
•    Experience with a range of financial analyses and modeling techniques including discounted cash flow, cost/benefit, and sensitivity analyses
•    Experience analyzing monthly balance sheet items and expense results and performing in-depth analysis
•    Experience in budgeting / planning
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Detail & results oriented
•    Proficient with PCs for analysis and modeling
•    Critical thinking and analytical skills
