Job Summary:


Sealed Air is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Manager, Global Executive Compensation to join the Total Rewards Community of Expertise (COE) in the People organization of Sealed Air Corporation. In this role, you will consult with the People team and business leaders on compensation adjustments for our executive population, design compensation programs (base pay, short-term incentives, equity, deferred compensation etc.), and be a key contributor on projects such as the Compensation Discussion & Analysis, executive policies and related practices (severance, retention, etc.) that have a global impact. In addition, you will partner closely with related functions within our People organization such as Talent Leaders, Global Talent & Learning, Sales Compensation, legal, finance, and regional compensation teams around the world to clearly and consistently communicate compensation programs and practices to key stakeholder groups.




  • Research evolving compensation practices in the external marketplace. Evaluate executive roles to maintain appropriate levels within our total rewards framework.
  • Support onboarding of new executives and the communication of all compensation and benefit programs.
  • Support drafting of required disclosures, including Proxy statement/CD&A--including primary responsibility and point of contact for all compensation tables.
  • Support executive compensation projects across multiple functions and client groups, utilizing subject matter expertise and knowledge of both internal and external business practices to improve the employee experience.
  • Convert data analysis into insights and assist in developing client-ready presentations for senior leaders and the Board of Directors, including primary support of the head of executive compensation, for presentation development for the company’s Organization and Compensation Committee. 
  • Utilize compensation surveys, consulting firms, and third-party vendors such as stock plan administrators to complete analysis of compensation and benchmarking.
  • Advise and partner with People Function’s Talent Leaders and business leaders on compensation program implementation. Partner closely with related functions such as Finance, Legal, People Experience and People Technology, Stock Plan Administration and Governance, Global Mobility and Regional Compensation teams.
  • Deliver clear and consistent communications to key stakeholder groups, including people leader training, on compensation, incentives, and equity programs.
  • Monitor changes to ensure compliance with global pay regulations.
  • Participate in M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities.




Education, Experience and Training needed: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting executive compensation.
  • Familiarity with executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, and equity incentive programs.
  • Experience with regional differences in compensation and benefits practices.
  • Proven experience acting as a subject matter expert to the business, including the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders.
  • Excellent business acumen, including finance and accounting knowledge.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including analysis and modeling.
  • Ability to manage change effectively, including technology, communications, and business process implications.


Additional qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in general compensation
  • Experience leading global projects.
  • Experience in supporting the design and implementation of compensation programs and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results within all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with vendor evaluation and selection.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills. SuccessFactors experience
  • CECP or SPHR certifications.
