Specialist, Employee Leave Programs

Position Summary

The Employee Leave Programs Specialist reports to the U.S. Employee Leave Programs Manager and is responsible for supporting our employees through our leave of absence processes. This includes communicating with the employee about the leave of absence benefits available to them, entering the respective LOA data in our internal system of record, and partnering with our leave administrator to ensure timely processing of claims.

As a personal advocate supporting the employee through exciting and/or stressful times in theirs and their family’s life, the Employee Leave Programs Specialist will handle all inquiries with confidentiality and compassion. Therefore, this individual needs to be empathetic and able to clearly provide direction while prioritizing care throughout the overall employee experience. This individual will have strong attention to detail, with interest in learning and acquiring new skills. 

•    Connect with employees to guide them through the LOA process, benefits, and expectations.
•    Review and track all employee claim requests and follow through to ensure approved timely.
•    Effectively communicate with the Manager, Employee Leave Programs, escalating any claims needing attention.
•    Timely and accurately submit approved claim notifications through our internal system of record.
•    Engage with local HR for handoff and transition of the employee on and off leave of absence.
