Summary of Team

The Global Supply Chain Finance team provides financial support for all aspects of the worldwide supply chain, including reporting and analysis of inventory, accounts payable, capital expenditures, direct materials, indirect expenses, manufacturing variances, transportation/logistics, and consolidated cost of sales. The team is also responsible for tracking and forecasting cost of sales inflation and savings and partnering with the Purchasing and Operations teams to optimize these areas. This group has a high degree of exposure to both Finance and Supply Chain leadership through its support of many high priority business initiatives.

Summary of Position

The Global Supply Chain Finance team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to provide reporting and analysis supporting the Global Supply Chain and Purchasing teams. This individual will be responsible for managing the inventory reporting process, including the consolidation and review of actual results, the monthly forecast, and annual budget (AOP). The Senior Financial Analyst will also help administer the Price Forecasting System (PFS) for direct material costs and will be responsible for calculating and forecasting direct material inflation and purchasing savings, as well as supporting system administration, special projects, and ad hoc analyses. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. The candidate must have effective communication skills and be able to work with cross-functional teams to ensure that others have the tools and knowledge required to make both financial and operational decisions. The ideal candidate will have a continuous improvement mentality and will leverage technology to develop and streamline robust processes/templates/reports.

Job Description

· Manage the inventory forecasting process:
     o Attend monthly inventory calls with regional supply chain finance teams to understand variance drivers.
     o Review regional inventory forecast submissions to ensure accuracy and understand business drivers; follow-up with regional teams as needed.
     o Summarize and report on inventory forecast and actuals performance.
     o Prepare inventory slides for free cash flow reporting.
· Support ad-hoc inventory requests.
· Support inventory audit requests.
· Lead the maintenance and development of several inventory Power BI dashboards.
· Partner with the Global Engineering and Quality leaders to build AOP forecast, report on monthly results including variance analysis, update monthly    forecast, and plan and track savings actions.
· Report actual and forecast direct material inflation and purchasing savings for monthly Purchasing reviews and financial reporting needs.
· Validate material price savings claimed by the Purchasing organization per established guidelines to ensure benefits are realized in financial   statements.
· Provide analytical support to the global Purchasing forecasting and AOP process for applicable metrics.
· Administer the Price Forecasting System (PFS) for direct material costs, including reviewing data for completeness, assisting users with the maintenance   of their data, and partnering with the IT organization on system enhancements to improve accuracy of spend reporting and forecasting.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
· 3-5 years of work experience in Finance or related fields
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with financial planning and consolidation systems such as OneStream or Hyperion
· Proficiency with SAP and business intelligence tools
· Experience with Power BI or other similar data visualization tools
· Ability to quickly learn new financial and data systems
· Excellent attention to detail
· Critical thinking and analytical skills
· Experience developing performance reports and presentations for management enabling them to leverage and maximize financial results
· Excellent written and oral communication skills to interface with colleagues at all levels
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; ability to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and   deadlines
