Job Summary

You will play a key role in shaping our new innovative initiatives, creating a useful and elegant product within the constraints of the product’s technical framework. This role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring someone who has a solid background in conceptualizing, researching, designing, and creating first-class product experiences.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead team of UX Pod through Iterations of launched products, creating experiences based on UX research, post-launch behavioral analytics, and insights. 
  • Work closely with Design Producers to request, point, assign, and review stories for UX team 
  • Align cross functional teams with concepting, workshop facilitation, and userflow creation during Discovery Phase of design life cycle. 
  • Lead regular design reviews where you’ll provide specific feedback on digital experiences and design for a UX Pod
  • Execute on the product roadmap and help define experience strategy 
  • Use UX skills, not only as a tool to solve execution problems, but to identify new opportunities for value creation.  
  • Effectively communicate design intent and rationale to designers, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders. 
  • Execute on the One Sealed Air vision, creating end to end, world-class user experiences based on UX research, insights, and analysis.  
  • Partner closely with the POP Design System Team for design direction to ensure consistency across platforms, adhering to established digital brand standards, UX workflows, Design Thinking methodologies  
  • Create high-quality design deliverables including wireframes, and prototypes using and producing reusable design tokens, components and patterns that will be integrated into our Design System. 
  • Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive

 

Qualifications

 

  • Professional Experience:  3+ years in applied product/UX design 
  • Design Rigor: Expert command over a wide range of design methods and high attention to detail.
  • Collaborative: Ability to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced, high-matrixed environment. Comfort with accepting and acting on feedback and constructive criticism. 
  • Communication:  Ability to communicate ideas through UX deliverables. Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge & Skills:  A command of design principles and visual storytelling. Experience turning information and data into simple, easy to understand insights and recommendations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience communicating ideas and evangelizing user needs.
  • Work style: A self-motivator with the ability to proactively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with competing timelines. Enthusiasm for giving our user a voice.
