The eCommerce organization of Sealed Air Corporation is responsible for creating a best in class Customer facing eCommerce site that gives our distributors ability to Browse products, Quick order, Shop and Place order and View their previous Order history. 


The Sr. Business Analyst is a key role on the eCommerce Product Management team that possesses strong eCommerce knowledge & is able to lead and execute multiple projects. They are able to work in a fast paced environment and thrive for result oriented delivery. They drive the team thru the plan, build and delivery phase and enjoy solving complex customer problems in a B2D/B2B industry. The Sr. Business analyst plans and manages product features through the product development process in support of the overall eCommerce strategy. This role uses business strategy, data/analytics, user experience, customer feedback and technology to create seamless customer experiences.


The Sr. Business analyst represents the customer/user and has the primary responsibility for defining all  requirements and communicating those requirements to the user experience and technology delivery teams. The Sr. Business analyst manages the priority of those requirements to ensure that the highest amount of customer value is being delivered in the fastest time possible.


The Sr. Business analyst uses data and analytics to analyze their business and prioritize their product backlog appropriately. They provide input into business cases when new products/features are being developed.


In addition, the Sr. Business analyst will work closely with Training & Process or LOE, Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Application/Services Vendors and numerous other internal and external parties with the goal of clearly communicating their team's backlog and roadmap and ensuring the necessary support is available upon product delivery.


The position reports directly to the Director of Product Management and will be based at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC.



  • Work with Director of Product Management and other Workstreams leaders to understand and support the eCommerce & Business strategies and offer innovative suggestions to improve processes.
  • Owns the overall execution of any features and owning the product catalog. That includes full ownership of justifying the business case, requirements gathering, technical analysis, complete story creation, feature delivery communication and overall process/business flows impacting the feature.  Including providing directional leadership to the developers, his peers, UX team members, business stakeholders and manager as it relates to the overall feature delivery.
  • Should be able to fully analyze each requests/initiative completely using SMART requirements principles. This includes defining high level requirements, requirements traceability, analyzing and considering all, but not limited to, functional requirements, security requirements, compliance/legal requirements, system to system requirements, performance requirements or any other requirements that can impact the overall delivery of the feature or product. Is expected to document these requirements thoroughly and derive target timelines and lead the team to delivering those timelines
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and with sufficient context and details, whether that be verbally or written via email with clear action items and focus on WHAT the customer is looking for 
  • Form strong business and IT relationships with the different workstream teams including Business partner and Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Finance, Legal, Digital marketing etc in order to facilitate idea generation and delivery of solutions.
  • Develop and enhance methodologies and practices for the application lifecycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement.
  • Partner with our managed services provider to insure their employees are properly trained in order to support our business.  Be responsible for making sure that proper documentation exists to support our business processes thru the project lifecycle 
  • Oversee the successful delivery of key projects, such as the multi-year initiative to build and design B2B eCommerce application
  • Act as a Subject matter expert for features owned on the eCommerce site along with Business process design, Requirements Artifacts, Peer Reviews for B2B applications 
  • Provides input into — and helps construct — business case documentation.


  • Bachelor's Degree, Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications or related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in executing world class eCommerce product management
  • 5+ years’ delivery experience in AGILE project management, business analysis, product marketing or product management 
  • 4+ years’ experience working with technology and user experience teams to define, scope, requirements and prioritize product requirements
  • 4+ years’ experience in translating business strategy into specific product features from inception to delivery/maintenance 
  • 3+ years’ experience in an agile software environment
  • Experience with building feature Roadmaps Leading the digital product roadmap
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with leadership, business stakeholders and customers 
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into action
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a large organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Can work effectively with remote teams
  • Willing to travel 5% - 20% time.
