Position Purpose

 

The ECL Technologist in Sealed Air is responsible for the design, fabrication, installation, and startup of proprietary ECL equipment at facilities worldwide  as well as drive our customer’s success by upgrading our manufacturing capabilities, providing creative solutions with your outstanding soft and electrical design skills, building the best working environment, and partnering with diverse and multicultural teams to keep us as the best in the packaging industry

  • To use your Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 5+ years of electrical design, and strong technical skills to solve the most complex challenges from solution development, equipment specification, design to start up.
  • Our global engineers will see you as an expert for the cross linking equipment.

  • To use your strong technical skills to support control systems design and implementation for our production lines. You will generate Electrical CAD drawings for control systems as well as support installation, startup and commissioning of the equipment. You will also support design of electrical distribution systems including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems. This will help you meet the goals and make the world better than we found it. You will also support the design, implementation, programming, and troubleshooting of control systems by utilizing your experience with PLCs (mostly Allen Bradley), HMIs and industrial networks such as Ethernet IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Modbus, etc.
  • You will build complex equipment including power supplies, accelerators, cables and supporting equipment. 
  • Being a self-motivated individual, you will learn the technology and suggest improvements to the technology. 
  • You will use your Office 365 skills to organize and effectively execute projects.
