Position Summary
As Sealed Air continues to move forward with Digital and Automation solutions, there is a need to assist I&D and Sales with connected devices, and new Automation equipment, as well as drive forward internal solutions within the company. Sealed Air manufactures equipment that is sent to customer locations which will be connected to the internet to enable collection and sending/receiving of data to create successful digital solutions. This position will be customer-facing and will serve as a Customer Relations Manager for Sealed Air/Cryovac customers related to IIoT. Supporting and providing standardization of physical Hardware assets near the "End Users" and creating standards to allow for management and support of these devices will be a major responsibility of this position.
Job Description
•Support Equipment Sales with online Product Demonstrations and Site Prep customer discussions
•Gathering requirements, building, and maintaining standards for customer and internal solutions as it relates to hardware and management of devices utilized
•Responsible for working collaboratively with key stakeholders from Equipment Engineering, IT teams, and Digital to design and drive customer solutions
•Manage the ongoing configuration needs of IIoT-connected gateways to be placed in customer locations
•Overseeing and determining timeframes for projects within the team to include, system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
•Collaborating with I&D on upcoming projects to help identify additional requirements related to Hardware and Device Connectivity
•Develop setup, configuration, and troubleshooting guides for Field Technicians & Solution Center
• Evaluate, develop, and implement plans for new support systems, products, or services while making suggestions to improve/change existing products and/or tools
•Provide updates for initiatives, promptly, to key stakeholders
•Ensuring device manageability and secure connectivity to these machines
•Operationalizing connected machine support and maintenance
•Assisting in end-to-end device testing for connected solutions
•Maintaining documentation related to the design and maintenance implementations for connected devices
•Onsite deployment support and training of SEE Field Service staff and customer technical staff
•Assist I&D and Sales in delivering the value of technologically heavy equipment to the customer in the “last mile” of development
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS or MS in a technical field preferred
- 3+ years in a leadership/management role preferred.
- Experience in a similar technical IT role.
- Hands on experience standardizing and working with network architecture and protocols, along with WAN connectivity through or via firewall rule management.
- Knowledge of IoT protocols and integration with Cloud Platforms.
- Understanding of security related to OS and physical assets.
- Windows, Mac, and Linux OS Experience
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to break down technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
- Self-Motivated, able to work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong Personality, willing to push forward ideas, while being a team player.
- Creative and Resourceful. Pulls together the necessary tools, equipment, and people to get the job done.
- 10-20% Travel Required
