Job Description
- Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products - Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels - Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods
Qualifications
Minimum of three years’ experience in Warehousing or Material Handling.
The ability to lift fifty pounds and expert knowledge for the operations for all models of sit down fork lifts.
Must be able to work as a team player, under production pressure with changing priorities, work unplanned overtime and 24-hour on call for emergencies as required.
Ability to understand mathematical conversions in relation to unit of measures, and accurately audit materials in storage locations.
Must have expert skills to design and build custom crates for large equipment that requires the operation of a nail gun, radial saw, table saw, and general power tools.
Must be able to drive a twenty five foot box truck between locations with loads up to fifteen thousand pounds.
Ability to receive, issue, and transfer materials within established SAP guidelines.
The ability to use all SAP inquiry tools for materials and export data to a spreadsheet.
Must be able to read drawings, understand Bill of Materials, ATP, and MRP.
