Position summary:

 

In your function of Business Developer - Food Packaging.

  • Within the team, you support the sales organization to initiate new markets, introduce new products and processes in order to develop sales in France
  • From the given market development objectives, you manage a portfolio of development, improvement, and optimization projects in the areas of fresh food packaging to contribute to the achievement of objectives in terms of sales, margins and profits expected
  • You support the sales teams in the marketing of the packaging solutions concerned (technical coordination, consumables, equipment, etc.) to customers (arguments, promotion, costing, advice, information, etc.)
  • You actively prospect for new business and develop new markets by ensuring the interface with the various players (Sales, R&D, product manager, equipment, applications, etc.)
  • You promote and develop systems, processes and equipment together with the sales team

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Beyond your technical sensitivity and your knowledge of packaging processes, you have a strong commercial orientation which will allow you to actively explore new opportunities and provide effective sales support.
  • Experienced in project management, you have professional English read, spoken and written (minimum B2)
  • The position involves travel throughout France (more than half the time in the field, with our customers or prospects, or at our demonstration center in Epernon).
