About the Role

An exciting new job opportunity as the Acquisition (Trade) Marketing ANZ has arisen within in our ANZ commercial function. This role can be based in either Fawkner, Victoria, Australia or Hamilton, New Zealand, and reports to Vice President Commercial - ANZ. Acquisition Marketing is designed to promote SEE products to new and existing customers in the respective markets with the key objective being to acquire new customers, and or grow share of wallet from existing customers.

 

It is intended that the successful candidate will be responsible for generating and qualification of marketing leads for the vertical through account-based marketing activities. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Commercial, Strategic Marketing & Portfolio team, and collaborate with MarComms to build campaigns with the right messaging for the customers and channels.

 

Key Responsibilities are:

  • Working with Commercial Leaders in ANZ to build and detailed understand key markets sectors and key customers.  Develop these insights into strategies for acquiring new business opportunities or increasing share of wallet opportunities from existing customer base.
  • Generating and qualifying market leads (to be passed off to commercial team) - nurturing, qualifying, and prioritizing leads to share with marketing and commercial.
  • Develop targeted and effective trade marketing collateral to support the Commercial teams with new product launches and the general promotion of SEE’s portfolio product offering.
  • Work with MarComms stakeholders to support the development of targeted campaigns aimed at acquiring customers.  Ensuring the best channels and messages are used for target audiences and development of value propositions.
  • Work with key stakeholders - Portfolio, I&D and Strategic Marketing to present market and customer Insights to support the development of strategic plans and product development.
  • Support teams in the development of effective and targeted market and customer innovation forums.

About the Person

  • Excellent understand of acquisition marketing and lead generation and qualification. Marketing degree is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of all relevant marketing channels, particularly for (Business to Business) B2B.
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver. 
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills. Proven ability to deliver a message clearly and concisely via various media – written or verbal communications.
  • Proven experience in an acquisition marketing role in FMCG or B2B matrix organization structure environment
  • Analytical with strong quantitative skills. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of the levers that lead to the improvement of the business.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology tools. A strong grasp of using and social media platforms, web analytics, etc.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, commercially driven and experienced with customer engagement experience.
  • Proficient computer skills to manipulate information and present it in a format to reinforce the message (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable and have the appropriate business acumen to deal with management at all levels.
  • Support sales teams in education in delivery of trade marketing collateral.
  • Support sales with innovation forums with customers and industry.
  • Driver’s license (able to travel regularly for short periods of time including to inter region and overseas locations).
