Position Summary
Responsible for manufacturing, repair and testing of electronic control systems, which includes diagnosing and repairing of electronics, reading schematics/manuals and installing new equipment for high-speed imaging and registration control systems for digital printing. Must also have strong understanding in design, manufacturing, & troubleshooting of AC & DC power inter-connect enclosures. Some experience or knowledge of programming FPGA’s, CPLD’s, PLC’s, microchip microprocessors.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for setup and testing high speed distribution modules for raster imaging systems.
- Responsible for setup and testing complex registration systems for digital printing.
- Responsible for the PC board repair, electronic upgrades and testing.
- Responsible for electronic enclosure panel layout and cable assembly manufacturing.
- Responsible for setup, testing and delivering production ready systems to be delivered to specified plant locations.
- Provide technical support to production engineering and field service engineers.
- Maintain schematics, source code, and operational documentation for release to production.
Qualifications
- AAS degree in Electronic Technology plus 5–7 years related work experience. Additional years of related experience, in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing & troubleshooting of AC & DC power enclosures.
- Knowledge of digital printing systems or raster image processing would be a plus.
- Experience is Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Access, etc).
- Excellent organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and multi-task.
