Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for technical minded individuals to join a 3-year fixed term Technical Cadetship Program. This program will kick-start your career with a comprehensive training program that will see you rotate through various technical departments to provide you with practical on the job training and experience in fields such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Project Management and Product Development.
This program offers you unparalleled exposure to technical and scientific expertise, diverse learning opportunities and unique development experiences. You will have access to cutting edge plastics technology and you will experience an inclusive, stimulating and dynamic environment that fosters innovation, creativity and problem solving.
- Provides technical support to engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks
- Develops and recommends procedures and methods, and prepares technical reports and documentation
- Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action
- Responsibilities are within the Technical Specialty/Skilled Trade Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Have a technical aptitude
- Have completed NCEA Level 3 with a minimum of 48 credits and/or have completed a qualification in a technical field i.e. Engineering/Trade Qualification
- Good communication skills
- Be self-motivated and reliable
