Job Description: 

Extruder Operators are responsible for the safe operation of plastic extrusion equipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges, temperatures, pressures and winder speeds while focusing on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities: 

Know and adhere to all safety rulesand procedures

Produce orders to schedule to satisfy customer needs and production requirements

Complete all quality inspections, testing and documentation Comply with company standards with housekeeping and surrounding machine areas

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requirements: 1-3 years as a machine operator with knowledge of process equipment, tooling and procedures in order to set up, operate, and maintain work area ina safe, productive manner

Basic math, reading, and anylytical skills. 

High Awareness towards safety and ability to analyze and solve production problems.

Able to work effectively and effciently as a part of a team and independendently.

Able to work overtime and weekends if required.

Frequent standing, walking, and bending

Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30 lbs

Eye/hand coordination

Must be able to work in hot room environment
