Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Generate mechanical and electrical drawings for all aspects of manufacturing plant, including equipment, facilities & grounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with engineering and other stakeholders in the plant to understand mechanical/electrical drawing requirements.
• Generate drawings in a timely manner, meeting stakeholder requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting existing designs and provide guidance to engineering when appropriate.
• Follow all applicable EHS, Quality & Food Safety procedures and protocols, and report any incident to his/her supervisor.
• Complete all EHS, Quality and Food Safety applicable training.
• Support implementation of the Quality and Food Safety program, and comply with the expectations if this role is included as part of the Food Safety or Internal Audit team.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years CAD experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCad, DraftSight and/or SolidWorks.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical design of manufacturing equipment.
EDUCATION:
• A.S. Degree in Drafting & Design or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
