Job Description

The Account Manager is one of the main contacts with our customers. Verify available products and innovations that could complement the customer’s portfolios to cover their needs. Offer solutions aligned with guidelines to local businesses. He is an effective link between the internal areas to comply with customer requirements on time. This position must be monitoring constantly clients’ complaints and returns and be aware of Sealed Air competitor’s practices.

Responsible to visit frequently to clients to try to identify and monitor customer needs, to make sure they are receiving timely and appropriate attention. In charge to present proposals that help increase their profitability. Account Manager has the responsibility to continuously improve his knowledge about new materials and equipment to offer the correct advice.

Main Responsabilities
  • Manage, organize, and develop every current assigned account. Identify new opportunities to develop innovative solutions according to customer needs. 
  • Monitoring the local market and detect the potential growth to develop new accounts and achieve sales goals.
  • Prepare proposals and budget plan every year for current accounts.
  • Co-work with the manager to implement new strategies to improve every account.
  • Identify client needs of the clients to make sure they are receiving timely and appropriate attention by monitoring the projects implemented.
  • Maintain profitability (inventory & loan portfolio)
  • Coordinate and plan agenda visits with the manager prioritizing each one according to previous established goals. These visits must be with quality content. (Visit Plants: Warehouse, Marketing, Quality, Planning and Logistic, etc.)
Minimum Education Required
  • Advanced English (not negotiable).
  • Desirable Food Engineering.

  • Knowledge food market or similar area
  • Knowledge flexible packing sector

Technical Experience
  • Technical knowledge of materials applications 
  • Technical knowledge of food processing 
  • Excel, Word, Power Point & SAP
  • AUTOCAD
Others
  • Valid American VISA and Passport
  • Driver´s License.
  • Able to travel for short periods of time, intrastate/interstate/overseas. 60%
  • Flexible with work hours – there will be a requirement to cover different time zones.
