Job Description

  1. Register, coordinate and lead the handling of external quality complaints according to standard procedures, utilizing SPC tools or RCA/CAPA methods across the APAC, EMEA, ANZ, LATAM and NAM regions.
  2. Liaise with manufacturing teams (Maintenance, Production, Process Engineering, NPD) to address customer-highlighted quality issues requiring extraordinary efforts for resolution and feedback.
  3. Participate in customer visits or audits and communicate findings to the Quality Manager and other stakeholders (Sister Plant, Sales, Application) regarding quality issue.
  4. Carry out analyzes and audits relating to raw materials, semi-finished products, finished product or even to the process to verify their compliance with specifications.
  5. Establish and maintain quality specifications for Barrier or Shrink Film in accordance with manufacturer capabilities, ensuring ongoing review and alignment with the Commercial Team.
  6. Provide support to production in terms of training, customer information, and products application.
  7. Conduct daily checks and analyses to promptly identify deviations to the manufacturing team.
  8. To cooperate with Quality team of the internal and external quality audit program.
  9. To manage laboratory efficient operations, equipment maintenance and required internal/external calibration.
  10. Oversee the vendor development program, aligning closely with barrier or shrink film requirements, and initiate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) for continual improvement.
  11. To manage the regulatory and requirements of quality testing & data at certified laboratories, as required by customers.
  12. To manage the administrative job within Quality division - Product Specifications, Fusion, Quality performance ,etc.
  13. To carry out continuous Quality Improvement Program.
  14. To manage any given tasks by the superior (if any)

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing plant environment with Quality Assurance experience.
  2. Experience in ISO 9001 standard, Halal, BRCGS, HACPP and Lean manufacturing and its implementation is an advantage.
  3. Experienced in conducting both internal and external audits, with a specialized understanding of the unique regulatory and quality requirements within the food industry.
  4. Skilled in laboratory internal and external calibration, analytical techniques including FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), Karl Fischer Titration, and other relevant methods according to the ASTM or manufacturer method.
  5. Shows strong leadership capabilities and excels in collaborating across diverse functional teams.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively in quality decision-making processes.
  7. Ability to visualize a problem and come up with CA as it affects the whole organization.
  8. Good organizational ability and troubleshooting skills.
