Summary

Shift available: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd

Pay: $22.00/hr plus applicable shift differential

 Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.  Reads and interprets diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.  Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.  Coaches and helps train other members of the team.

  • Set-up operation of Product Branding, Labeling & Packaging Requirements.
  • Preventive Maintenance Schedules & Responsibilities.
  • Production Schedule Sequencing & Observance.
  • Production Reporting and Recording Responsibilities.
  • Proper Start Up Procedures.
  • Proper Shut Down Procedures.
  • General Trouble Shooting Guidelines.
  • Follow Quality Test & Recording Requirements

Be aware of and adhere to all safety rules & regulations

Qualifications

  • Must be able to take and follow both written and verbal directions and communicate those directions to others.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Must have basic math skills and be able to solve mathematical problems. Must also have some basic hand tool skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years in a manufacturing role working as a machine operator.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a continuous basis.  Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.  Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching on a daily basis.
