Job Description

Embark on a rewarding journey as a Maintenance Technician in a fast-paced environment. Your role will encompass the safe execution of maintenance duties, facility upkeep, and taking a proactive role in ensuring the plant's safety standards are met. Starting salary based on experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot injection molding and assembly equipment, interact with vendor technical support.
  • Maintain facility systems and equipment.
  • Recommend improvements to current processes, machinery and technology.
  • Troubleshoot PC and PLC and load programs as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Advocate for proactive safety & participate in training programs.
  • Participate in plant-wide safety efforts.
  • Provide plant-wide support.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:  High school diploma required.  Two- year technical degree or equivalent experience in maintenance.

 

Experience: Injection molding experience preferred, strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aptitude required. proficient PC & PLC troubleshooting and repair skills, use measuring and levelling tools for fine adjustments.

 

Specific Skills:  Mechanical and electrical competencies, PLC, complete projects and assignments independently or in team environment, and ability to safety use hand tools and small power tools.

 

Equipment & Machinery:  May operate moving platforms. Operate machines in service mode.

 

Computer Experience & Software:  Proficient computer skills, ability to learn CMM software. Microsoft suite.
