What does a Maintenance Manager do?

Manages the overall maintenance of the company (corrective, preventive and predictive) of both machinery and facilities, coordinating a group of people, minimizing intervention times and trying to achieve the absence of unplanned stops. Manages the different external maintenance services of the building and facilities.

  • Because you possess excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate team members, ensure their training for the performance of assigned tasks and promote their development by establishing training and performance evaluation plans.
  • Because you are a person capable of collaborating with the quality, process and production departments to eliminate risks and improve the reliability of the production process, identifying, developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions focused on productivity, quality and environmental improvements.
  • To bring into play your management skills, preparing the budget for your area, executing and controlling it, proposing corrective measures in case of deviations.

Qualifications

  • Industrial Engineering background (mechanical, electrical)
  • Experience in industrial environments. Experience in dimensioning and legalization of new installations will be an asset.
  • Ability to manage teams, as well as subcontractors and maintenance contracts. 
  • Good level of English (C1)
