What does an IT Business Process Improvement Manager Do?
- Lead cross-functional teams to conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and value stream analysis of existing processes and workflows
- Communicate and collaborate with senior management, functional leaders, and frontline staff to ensure alignment and buy-in of the process improvement goals and plans
- Track and measure the performance and outcomes of the process improvement projects and report on the progress, challenges, and best practices
- Identify and escalate any risks or issues that may affect the successful delivery of the process improvement objectives
- Conduct business process analysis and identify gaps, issues, and areas for improvement
- Develop and document business process improvement solutions, including process maps, workflows, procedures, and policies
- Implement and manage business process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives
- Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional collaboration and communication on business process improvement activities
- Provide training and coaching to staff on business process improvement methodologies and tools
- Research and evaluate emerging trends and best practices in business process improvement
What are we looking for in You?
- University educated (BA/BS)
- Strong verbal and written communications; ability to analyze large volumes of information and define "the big picture"
- Strong analytical abilities
- Business and financial acumen
- Experience in working with internal and external, local and global team members to deliver results
- Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
- Strong knowledge and skills in business process improvement methodologies and tools, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or BPMN
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
