What does a Senior Manager, IT Administration Do?

  • Serve as a key IT point-of-contact for the local office in Manila including key office managerial responsibilities and communications across multiple IT departments
  • Be responsible for managing a team to oversee the functions of the IT Administration department:
  • Operational Planning, Financial Planning, and Performance Management
  • Software and Hardware licensing administration
  • Department Communications, Presentations and Dashboarding
  • Engage in managing broader business relationships across the globe for the 'Business of IT'
  • Be responsible for operational planning and performance measurement for the IT organization including:
  • Financial forecasting and planning - Strategic Plan (STRAP), Annual operating plan (AOP), monthly/quarterly/adhoc Operating and Financial Performance KPIs
  • Long range planning to optimize operating expense, capex, and cash expenditure
  • Multi-department coordination to measure and report on operational performance
  • Technology roadmap planning, financing, and performance measurement
  • Work closely with Finance and Purchasing teams
  • Software and hardware licensing administration including:
  • Work closely with all members of the IT Organization to manage technology roadmaps for optimized contract negotiations
  • Organize members through the organization for management of entitlements, minimization of overlapping technologies, and underutilized licensing
  • Ensure licensing compliance practices are instituted
  • Executive reporting monthly, quarterly, annually and ad-hoc on the portfolio of contracts, spend and other operational metrics
  • Strategic vendor relationship management
  • Financial management of spend over software, hardware, and leases
  • Continuous improvement (reduce, eliminate, or automate)
  • Vendor risk management (business risk, cyber risk and other risks)
  • Organize members through the organization for management of entitlements, minimization of overlapping technologies, and underutilized licensing
  • Manage audits of licensing agreements and usage with vendors
  • Manage department licensing renewal process including providing dashboards and status reports and drive team members to complete actions timely.
  • Creation of key department communications, dashboards, and presentations.

  • University educated (BA/BS)
  • Strong verbal and written communications; ability to analyze large volumes of information and define “the big picture”
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Experience in working with internal and external, local and global team members to deliver results
  • Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
  • Experience in Six Sigma, Lean or other process-oriented techniques
