What you'll do:

 

Providing sample analysis, sales and service support for the field based sales and service team.  Advising the optimum packaging solution to meet the customer’s needs.  Supporting and reporting on sales activities and results and developing our knowledge base allowing the sales team to offer a packaging and equipment systems solution that delivers maximum benefit for the customer and maximising the revenue opportunity for Sealed Air. 

 

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Conducting sample analysis on customer and prospect product samples
  • Advising optimum Autobag systems solution and bag specification to meet application needs
  • Preparing for and supporting customer demonstrations
  • Supporting and installing onsite customer trials
  • Internal support for AutoLabel queries and testing
  • Managing and rotating demonstration equipment stock
  • Managing stock of bags for testing and exhibitions
  • Developing relationships with Infeed equipment partners whilst identifying new technologies that can be used in conjunction with Autobag equipment
  • Sharing Sales data with the field sales team such as open order & YTD reports
  • Ensuring all leads are added to C4C as they come in and preparing reports such as conversion rates for each stage of the sales cycle – feeding this data back to the sales team during sales meeting
  • Preparing, arranging and sending our samples to customers
  • Facilitating equipment requirements for UKI & Scandinavia Exhibitions

 

Service Responsibilities:

  • Carry out pre shipping machine assessments
  • Make specification changes to new machinery prior to dispatch 
  • Become competent in the use of Autolabel 18 Label design software
  • Supporting and installing onsite customer trials

What you'll need:

 

Education & Experience:

  • Graduate or equivalent (desirable)
  • Educated to “A” level, HND or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience of working in a pre-sales/technical sales role (desirable)
  • Basic technical knowledge (essential)
  • IT skills (essential)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment, ideally supporting a global, corporate organisation (desirable)
  • To be able to travel to the other sites on a regular basis with the possibility of overnight stays
