Job Description
- Design and execute prototype equipment and validate performance to meet organization and/or global standard from all aspects, i.e., performance, safety and durability.
- Conduct validation trials, collect data, and generate detailed technical reports.
- Assist projects through the IDP stage gate process, preparing gate review decks and managing technical deliverables.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, in coordination with Project Managers and Marketing.
- Scout and assess new technologies, materials, and external partners to drive innovation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for new product developments.
- Maintain proper lab operations, including equipment upkeep, sample management, and material stock control.
- Conduct package performance and material testing, including fitness-for-use evaluations.
- Participate in field trials, customer demonstrations, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, sales, and finance to ensure successful product rollout and cost alignment.
- Promote workplace safety and uphold laboratory best practices and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- M.Tech/M.E in Mechanical engineering
- Flexible travel domestically.
- Highly motivated, self-initiator, creative and inquisitive minded individual.
- Having skills like AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, MS Office, project writing, etc., would be an additional advantage.
