What does a Pricing and Deal Analyst do?
The Pricing and Deal Analyst supports our Sales and Marketing teams by providing pro-active analysis and different scenarios to give guidance on the best proposals and deals. Helping our Sales teams to profitably grow the business, while also having the necessary internal controls in place.
Why we need you?
- To use your talent to manage requested price conditions to be saved in SAP within the lead time given. You will also manage for Rebate (sales allowances) set up in SAP and have correct set up and checks in place for accurate accruals and settlements with given lead times, assisting in performing audits and controls for our rebate agreements.
- To use your ability to keep an overview over the Financials with a good understanding of the underlying details. Investigate DMC’s, price lists and tools, statistics and evolution for new and existing business. Review new business proposals from Sales and present for authorization
- You will be seen as an invaluable business partner adding value to all key decisions, educating sales teams on how to interpret financial information.
- To assess results/impact of testing and identify deficiencies or concerns. Assist with developing reasonable and cost-effective recommendations to address each.
- To collaborate with Portfolio Management to provide sales team with the accurate price guidelines respecting margin target levels.
- To use your proactivity to discover business issues and contribute towards corrective actions.
- You will demonstrate your integrity by making sure departmental procedures & policies are followed in line with SEE Corporate Policies.
Qualifications
- To use your experience to organize, manage and prioritize work. You are flexible regarding changing priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor degree in business economics or finance. .
- Your interpersonal communication skills are strong verbal and written. You always choose to work cordially and professionally with internal and external constituents.
- You are fluent in English, French strongly preferred.
- You can work independently and as a team member.
- You always do the right thing, maintaining high level of confidentiality concerning proprietary information.
