What does a Sales Director do?

  • Ensure that the company becomes the major European leader in bag in box packaging along with dispensing fitments, and filling equipment in alignment with the company's vision, leading the development and execution of regional sales and market strategies that will result in sustainable high return revenue growth. 
  • Develop overall business across multiple segments (water, wine, beverage, dairy, etc…) that is additive to the overall growth for the region.  
  • The other main responsibility for this role is to develop the most talented sales leaders and teams by enabling processes and market disciplines with defined stakeholder performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Build up and maintain on a regular basis Top-to-Top contacts with our customers to secure the AOP achievement in Europe. Develop excellent relationship at top level, turning all collected info into a solid growth plan with each one of these important accounts.
  • Identification, development and execution of the short-, medium- and long-term market strategies for Europe that exceed AOP.
  • Development of Country and market specific strategic actions with clearly defined milestones and success measures. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. 
  • Support for the global filler growth strategy for filler and spare parts sales, filler service and product innovation
  • Work in close coordination with the Sales Director for Turkey, Africa, and the Middle East, ensuring that all pricing and selling strategies are aligned across the broader region.
     

Qualifications

  • Proven sales management experience
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Excellent command of English  
  • CRM experience
  • Second or third language an advantage
  • Professional Strategy Planning and Execution skills
  • Strong analytical skills: tell “why”, not ‘what’.
  • Complex negotiations
