Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Prepare of Work Orders and execute smooth production planning, scheduling, and timely fulfilment of work orders
• Monitor production schedules and adjust them as needed to meet customer demand.
• Implement process improvement plan and meet or exceed operations objectives set up by company
• Analyze production Cycle time and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and maintain safe work procedure (SWP) for production processes & regular maintenance processes
• Streamline workflow and eliminate waste
• Managing and lead small work groups
• Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requisition for production supplies and materials needed for production
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure 5S and perform routine machine maintenance
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Minimum NITEC/ Higher NITEC/ GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent, Diploma holder is preferred
• Minimum 2-3 year of manufacturing supervision experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Possess good communication skills and able to work with all levels in the organization
• Strong hands on and maintenance background, possess problem solving and strong leadership skills
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new skill
