Job Description
- Performs installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems using one or more trade skills (e.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry) - Prepares and maintains records of completed maintenance repair work - Maintains current knowledge of all applicable procedures and safety measures. Must possess a proven background in equipment and facilities maintenance. Must have a proven record of being able to work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision A 2-year associates degree in industrial electronics/maintenance or related field highly desireable. Must have demonstrated a working knowledge of Lean and support all Lean initiatives. Maintain equipment through Lean strategies and tools, effective communication, and team skills.
Responsibilities
1. Abilities to troubleshoot HVAC units and any support equipment related to the building services such as Chillers.
2. Develop PM programs for HVAC maintenance
3. Make budget recommendations relating to building and grounds services
4. Provide oversight to all contractors performing work on areas of responsbilities
5. Interact and coordinate with outside contractors when needed
6. Understand SAP functions for processing work orders, ordering parts, etc,.
7. Knowledge of electrical circuits
8. PLC understanding preferred
9. Breakdown maintenance - Repair of equipment after failure. Practice of 5 Why and Error Proofing Lean principles
10. Corrective maintenance - Improvement of equipment, in addition to repair.
11. Predictive maintenance - Daily or weekly inspections, cleaning, adjusting, lubricating and replacement. Cleaning to inspect and fundamental TPM practices to prevent early failure
12. Train new maintenance technicians as required
13. Able to support maintenance needs and efforts in Extrusion, Press, and Bagroom
14. Conduct fire, safety, sanitation inspections
15. Assume a resource role on the team and supports team resources and other teammates on a day to day basis
16. Maintain accurate maintenance history file
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent bending and lifting of items up to 50 pounds as needed (Lifting of items exceeding 50 pounds but less than 100 pounds will require a two person lift)
• Work with and around various solvents, inks, corn starch and cleaning chemicals
• Access all work areas to include frequent climbing on stands, ladders and stairs
• Work on rooftop in all weather conditions
• Sit, stand, stoop, squat, bend, climb and reach overhead as needed
• Push/pull objects as needed
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management at all levels
• Must be able to follow all safety processes and procedures
• Utilize communication skills to effectively express both oral and written ideas individually or in group settings
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; Flexible to work as needed; occasional weekends
Wages: Based on experience

Qualifications
*Demonstrates initiative to support teammates as needed
*Be able to achieve EPA Universal certification upon completion of provided internal training; A minimum 3 yr commitment to the position is expected (to offset the cost of training)
*Experience reading schematics.
*Experience using electronic controls and computer troubleshooting equipment
*Experience in mechanical troubleshooting
*Excellent communication skills
*Provide own hand tools
*A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Preferences but not required:
*Chiller experience preferred
*Air compressor experience preferred
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job in a safe manner. Must be a contributing member of the Sealed Air team and work with teammates to practice Total Productive Maintenance and other Lean concepts within span of control.
