What does the Korean Equipment & Automation Lead do?

SEE Korea (실드에어코리아) is looking for a motivated and experienced Engineering Sales talent to join our Equipment & Automation team. The role will be based in our Bundang office 경기도 성남시 분당구.


You will report directly to the Equipment & Automation Director base in Australia, and act as the leader for Korea to grow equipment sales in Korea. You will be the key person to identify, develop and execute the growth strategy for equipment sales across all SEE businesses – Food Packaging equipment, Protective Packaging equipment and Digital and integration enablement. You will also be responsible for building the Korean equipment team (including but not limited to system integration engineer, equipment BD people, automation expert) as our business grows.


You are also the key person to work closely with the regional equipment team and Korean Sales team to meet customers/suppliers/business partners to understand the business landscape and bring necessary improvement to the Equipment & Automation team

What are we looking for in you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronic / Chemical)
  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial sales role, with strong business acumen in delivering sales targets
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or packaging industry
  • Demonstrated equipment experience preferably with packaging equipment & automation
  • Experience working in System Integrators is highly preferred
  • Proven communication skills, fluent in both Korean and English
  • Leadership and people management skills is a plus
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experienced or comfortable with working in large matrix organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point
  • Driver’s license (able to travel regularly for short periods of time including to interstate and overseas locations)
