Business Development Manager - Retail

Primary Accountabilities

Based in Shanghai (preferred) or Beijing (optional). 

Reporting to: Business Development Manager, Retail G China

  • Develop the new businesses by introducing SEE’s solutions among China retail food packaging covering FRM, S&PM, F&V, which include (but not limited) Cryovac Darfresh, Semi rigid rollstock Case Ready and the equipment system
  • Build/implement market strategy and lead the retail food packaging business growth in China to achieve growth budget in NTS & GP percentage
  • Hunt and lead to develop new market/application in retail food packaging area, and coordinate to identify SEE solutions, and extend it to the sales team
  • Provide guide and training to the sales team, and lead on the key account development plan
  • Responsible for SEE Darfresh/VSP film and Semi rigid product line growth. Coordinate on the sales forecast and aged inventory cleaning plan
  • Collect/Absorb/Analyze the market information, provide consultancy and predict product proposals to the company and report regularly
  • Work with equipment team to integrate the retail food packaging materials with the machines


  • 5+ years working experience in meat and/or F&V packaging, familiar with Case Ready, VSP, rollstock laminates and semi-rigid packaging solutions
  • Experience in meat or other related food Industries is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge in food science also preferred
