Role Summary

An exciting job opportunity arises within Sealed Air APAC region as a HRBP for Commercial & HR PMO APAC with base location in Shanghai China.

 

The role reports directly to Vice President of HR Operations, APAC and is responsible for managing APAC HR related projects and partnership with Commercial team as HRBP to,

  • Partnership with Commercial team to provide value added consulting and services,
  • Provide project leadership, capacitation and help drive implementation of key initiatives in APAC, including but not limited to HR process improvement, M&A projects and others if any,
  • Manage project plans, timeline, and identify project issues and risks,
  • Deliver project results with a time manner,
  • Manage people strategy in the region.

Main Job Responsibilities includes (not limit to):

  • Work as strategic business partnership with commercial team in APAC to deliver a world-class consulting and services from HRBP perspective,
  • Develop quality working relationships with Commercial team in APAC and other executives to facilitate alignment and business-driven initiatives,
  • Build and recommend a 3 year strategic roadmap for the HR PMO and HR Strategy for Commercial,
  • Ensure the effective execution of build and run all HR projects in alignment with the Global PMO and overall group and HR strategy,
  • Ensure project management work related to acquisitions and divestitures meet all required activities for due diligence, and integration activities are executed successfully with a deep understanding of the manager and employee experience
  • Manage people strategy in the region,
  • Facilitate the ongoing education, communication, and awareness of the Project Management policy, principles and standards for various stakeholder groups to ensure standardized and consistent application and implementation enterprise-wide
  • Implement smooth, speedy and efficient workflow in all areas of the HR in the region to ensure successful implementation and ongoing maintenance and support for the HR processes,
  • Work with other HR leaders, processes owners, and staff resources to maintain, engage, develop and review the current practices to be “the best fit”,
  • Serve as the key relationship point of contact for HR Centers of Expertise (COE) and Line of Business (LOB) Project Managers and contribute to the effective interface and interaction with stakeholders to optimize and enhance value and reputation of the Project Management in the organization

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • MBA, BS, BA or graduate degree in technology, business or a related degree preferred,
  • Desirable post-graduation
  • Proficient in both Chinese and English Languages

Key Experiences 

  • Ten years of progressive and multi-country management experience with a focus on human resources technology and transformation, and at least 5 years HRBP and large-scale project management experiences,
  • Strong partnership with commercial team,
  • Strong experience in project management with proven ability to leverage financial business drivers in a regional business operation,
  • Experience with strategic operations in a multi-location, industrial driven, regional operating environment.
