Position Summary

Hiring for:

  • Attendant-Press  (8 hr shifts , 2nd, 3rd, Weekend Shift)

  • Attendant-Converting (8hr shifts, 2nd, 3rd)

  • Attendant-Extrusion  (12 hr shifts 6pm-6am/2,2,3)

 

Attendants starting at $19.25/hr. 

$1.20-1.50 premium for off shifts

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery
  • Ensure correct product.
  • Checking data sheet to ensure proper set up of the machine. 
  • Set machine parameters according to standard operating procedures written each job.
  • Troubleshooting the line, taking appropriate correctives actions while analyzing the line and correcting the issues  
  • Maintain quality control ensuring the operation for various quality defects.
  • Ensure safety of the department.
  • Work alongside other departments to ensure accuracy and product deliverance.
  • Ability to perform all SQF activities 
  • Communicate any problems with equipment, product and damage to the facility. 

Qualifications

  • Press Positions- 3 years of Flexograpic press experience 
  • Other positions require 2-3 years of machine operating experience 

Education

Diploma
General Cert-Secondary Educatn

Other Requirements

  • Ability to use various quality equipment tools such as; microscope, micrometer, and tape measure
  • Flexibility within a high performance work environment 
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment
  • Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on date obtained
